Business Card Price Calculator

What business cards actually cost — no quote form.

Pick a quantity and a stock. You get the real total, the price per card, and how long it takes. These are the same prices the store charges, pulled straight from our catalog — not an estimate and not a starting-from number.

Prices are full color on both sides with standard turnaround included.

How business card pricing actually works

Almost all of what you pay for a short run is setup — the plate, the press make-ready, the cut. That cost is the same whether you print 100 cards or 1,000, which is why the per-card price falls off a cliff as the quantity goes up and then flattens out. The jump from 25 cards to 500 barely moves the total. The jump from 500 to 5,000 moves it much less than ten times.

This is the single most useful thing to know before you order: if you are buying 250, look at what 500 costs first. The difference is usually smaller than people expect, and the cards do not expire.

What changes the price

Quantity, by far the most. Stock comes second — the thicker and more finished the card, the more it costs, and the gap widens with volume. Beyond that, the things people expect to be expensive mostly are not: full color costs the same as one color on a digital press, and printing both sides costs far less than double.

What does add cost is anything that needs a separate pass or a separate machine — foil, spot gloss, rounded corners, unusual sizes. If you want one of those, tell us what you are after and we will price it properly rather than guess here.

Which stock should you pick?

For most businesses the middle option is the right one. It feels like a professional card, it survives a wallet, and it does not cost much more than the thinnest option. Go heavier when the card is doing work a website is not — a trade, a premium service, anything where the person is holding the only thing they will remember you by.

Go lighter when the cards are disposable by design: a one-off event, a seasonal promotion, a run you expect to reprint the moment something changes. There is a fuller breakdown of how each stock feels on the business cards page.

Is this the price I will actually pay?

Yes, for the quantities listed. This page reads the same catalog the store prices from, so a total here is a total there. Quantities between the listed breaks are priced live in the store as you configure the order — this page will tell you which two breaks you are between rather than guess at a number in the middle.
